Innovative look at the headquarters of the John Cockerill Group
The multifunctional headquarters of the Belgian mechanical and plant engineering group includes an 8,250 m2 large office space. The name Orangerie combined with CMI's corporate values encourage an innovative architecture. The most important element in the project's façades is a metal mesh enveloping the building. The façade is reminiscent of the iron and steel industry of the area. The aluminium sheets with rectangular openings represent the brick stones often used around Seraing. For both the basic cladding and the second skin, Alucol anodised and coloured 2,600 m2 of high-tech aluminium in gold VOM3.
The appearance of the iconic office connects past and present. Alucol is proud to be part of this project.
