Alucol anodised the aluminium cladding in natural shade VOM1
Fontys Campus School of ICT, Eindhoven
Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven built a new practical faculty for ICT on the Rachelsmolen campus. Sustainability and circular economy are important pillars in the design by Ector Hoogstad Architects.
Sustainable, round materials were chosen for the cladding. For Nedicom, the façade builder's cooperation partner, Alucol anodised the aluminium cladding in natural shade VOM1. The fastening of the façade was planned and worked out by the façade builder. In consultation meetings, the contacting and the format of the surrounds were determined in detail. The requirements for each element were discussed and adjusted as needed. Not least because of this, the production went smoothly.
The façade fits in perfectly with the green surroundings. The building, with its own strong character, invites collaboration, experimentation, and knowledge transfer. Alucol is proud to have contributed to this well-thought-out project.
