Bunker Tower, Eindhoven

15,000 m2 colored Colinal C34 dark bronze frame profiles

Student centre De Bunker has been a household name in Eindhoven since the 1960s. With the addition of a 100-metre-high residential tower, architect Powerhouse Company paid tribute to the original design, with space for housing, an office and a grand café. In form, material and colour, Powerhouse Company sought reference to the existing building. The untreated aluminium window frames in the original building were replaced by anodised window profiles. For the Bunkertoren, Alucol anodised and coloured 15,000 m² of window profiles. The colour Colinal C34 dark bronze complements the wood and natural stone in the facades.
